About Jah Mushae

I was born in 1956 at Birmingham Women's Hospital
I lived in Holly Road in Handsworth until the age of 7
then went to live in Browns Town, St. anns, Jamaica.
This is where I developed the love for music,
singing in the church and school choir.
I returned to England at the age of 17.

It was at this point in my life I met
the original founders of Black Symbol.
Black Symbol were self-taught musicians who inspired
me and I then went on to teach myself to play the drums
and sing at the same time. After a few years Black Symbol
split up, half of the band remained as Black Symbol and
the other half formed a new group called Oneness Syndicate
which I then became a member of.

A few years went by on the road with Oneness Syndicate but
due to family commitments, the band split in 1989. I met Jeremiah
aka "Glasses" who persuaded me to get back into music.
This time in the digital sound with Jeremiah's guidance, he put
me on to a professional producer who goes by the name of "Polo".
I am now a singer, song writer and co-producer alongside Polo
at Vibes Production.

Music is my passion and I love to spread the joy and love of  music with everyone around me.
